SWHS Thespian Showcase including an ENCORE performance of the State-bound show, James and the Giant Peach! Join us to see the individual events showcase that our Tiger Thespians will present at the 2009 Texas State Thespian Festival in Corpus Christi, TX, November 19-22. At the festival, SWHS will also present James and the Giant Peach for an audience of fellow Thespians from all over the Great State of Texas. Join us for one final performance at home!

 

 

 

Almost, Maine, takes place at precisely 9:00 p.m. on a cold, clear, moonless Friday night in the middle of winter. All is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised and hearts are broken, but the bruises heal and the hearts mend—almost—as ALMOST, MAINE inventively explores the mysteries of the human heart- touching audiences with laughter, heartbreak and hope in a series of duet acting scenes. Directed by senior Thespian, Moises Martinez.
