Purpose: To effectively communicate with school and stakeholders to build strong relationships
Goal: Open channels of communication and inform the parents and community about services and resources and school functioning.

Objectives:
(1) Improve the effectiveness of the overall communication with community
(2) Create a relationship with the community that highlights the quality of instruction and the benefit to the community of having SWHS
(3) Communicate with the parents of new students
(4) Educate parents about the school process
(5) Raise awareness and understanding about the problems that students are facing (alcohol, drugs, peer pressure, lack of supervision, etc.)
(6) Find preventive measure to conquer (alcohol, drugs, peer pressure, lack of supervision, etc.)
(7) Identify and examine the SWHS parent and communication vehicles and generate recommendations and strategies to help improve overall communication
(8) Profile the administrator covering different issues in the Tiger Times by having the administrators taking turns writing regular columns in the school paper.
(9) Use the web to announce meetings, agendas, etc.
(10) Promote a friendly environment to our families and parents
Recommendations:
(1) Enhance the identity and build the relationships between SWHS and the community by ensuring that the Administrators are more visible and accessible.
(2) Use the website by having a brief bio, photos, and email addresses of the administrators
(3) Seek to appoint a parent as a liaison between the school and the community; provide some space for them to operate and carryout their functions.
