Senior Picture Day is September 24! Please make sure you look good on that day! Seniors will be taking their tux and drapes photos during their English classes. The amazing Spring Woods High School Student Council runs a food pantry on campus. It is called Woods Goods! It is located in room 701. They offer free food, clothing, and toiletries. Woods Goods is open every Friday until 4 PM. Anyone is welcome to stop by! Donations are appreciated!

Spring Woods High School students finished the summer umpire program with the Astros/ Umpscare Foundation last night with a trip to Daikin Park. The students and their parents got to meet the MLB Umpires before the game. The summer program consisted of students in SBISD, HISD, Aldine, Humble and CyFair. This is the 7th summer they have offered this free summer camp to Houston area students.
Spring Woods High School Culinary Arts teacher Aaron Halling recently took a group of students on a field trip to Snow's BBQ. They had the opportunity to learn directly from one of Texas's most respected barbecue operations. Halling said the students asked great questions, actively participated, and represented our school well. The owner of Snow's, Kerry, and the pitmaster, Clay, both said multiple times, "You've got some really smart kids in this group." SWHS has a growing BBQ team.
