What a way to start the year! 💙💛 From big smiles and first-day hugs to reconnecting with friends and meeting new teachers, there were so many great moments across SBISD today. 📸 Check out some of our favorite photos from the first day of school! Here’s to an amazing year ahead! #SBISDProud #SBISDPossible

As students head back to school, let’s all do our part to help make the first day a safe one.
🚗 Slow down and stay alert in school zones.
🚌 Stop for school buses when lights are flashing and the stop sign is extended.
🚸 Watch for students in crosswalks and near bus stops.
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road.
⏰ Give yourself extra time. Arrival and dismissal may take a little longer during the first few days.
👮 Follow directions from crossing guards, SBISD Police and campus staff.
Whether you’re driving, walking, biking or riding the bus, a little extra patience and attention can make a big difference.
Let’s start the school year safely, SBISD! 💙💛 #SBISDProud #BackToSchool

Spring Woods High Students Earn National Recognition at Educators Rising Conference
Spring Branch ISD is proud to celebrate a historic achievement by Spring Woods High rising seniors Lizbeth Lopez and Narhalie Padilla.
This summer, the two students became the first Spring Woods High students to compete at the Educators Rising/TAFE National Conference in Portland, Oregon, after qualifying through the Texas state competition.
Competing alongside more than 3,800 students from across the country, Lizbeth and Narhalie earned a Blue Ribbon, the highest ribbon distinction awarded in the Interactive Bulletin Board competition.
Their achievement reflects the strength of SBISD's Career and Technical Education (CTE) Education and Training pathway, which provides students with opportunities to build leadership skills, gain hands-on experiences and prepare for careers in education.
The students were supported by educator Jasmine Randolph, whose mentorship helped prepare them for success at both the state and national levels.
Congratulations to Lizbeth Lopez, Narhalie Padilla and Jasmine Randolph on this historic accomplishment. Thank you for representing Spring Woods High and SBISD with excellence. Go Tigers!
